The basic origin of vastu is considered the shape of ‘AUM’. Lord Ganesha who is god of learning has been associated with primordial sound and AUM is considered to be omniscient. Vastu shastra is a science which was evolved around 6,000-5,000 in B.C. It deals with knowledge of architecture, building and construction science. It also touches the every facet of life on the earth.

Principles of vastu shastra provide guidance for making optimum use of cosmic energy to achieve cosmic harmony. Some pyramids, mirrors, bells, gems, precious stones, metals, colors, yantras, trees, flowers serve as catalysts in reestablishing the connection between man and the divine energy. The concept of vastu shastra depends on eight directions for proper implementation of energy resources.

Everyone lives in home and home can’t be considered a thing which is made of bricks and cement. Many things are attached with it. House is made up of happiness, care, love and affection. To live a happy and sound life in own house is a dream of every people but the proper management is also important as well as the materials of house. The following tips can prove helpful in proper management of house.

Tips for property position

Vastu shastra says that you should buy the house which is in south, west or southwest direction. Direction for building entrance should be in north, east or northeast direction. Shape of plot should be either rectangular or square shaped. If you have square plot the ideal construction position is middle or center of the plot and if you have rectangular shaped plot you should start construction in south, west or southwest position.

House should have all the open position on the four sided around the house. The water bodies of house should be in north or east position of the house. Vastu shastra recommends that the number of columns used in the buildings should be of even numbers. The construction of the house should be made with due consideration to proper ventilation and sunlight. Pictures of any war scenes, demons, one in anger should not be placed in the house.
